Christmas is coming soon!!!!

Hello, fans!!!!

I hope you had a wonderful Halloween! This year, Pet Society really tried hard and succeeded into turning the town in HALLOWEEN TOWN! It was awesome! Most of my friends wore costumes, everything was so cute! Ooops, I meant creepy... he he he....

And even thought it's only November 11th, I think we should already make Christmas plans! (After all, it's the most wonderful holiday, no?). We need your help! Pet Society Strange is looking for some heart-warming ideas for this Christmas in order to make it filled with delight and joy!

First, take some time to comment on our Facebook page. We recently asked what we should give to our fans for Christmas... until now, there are three possible options:
1) Pet Society Strange will be gifting a small Christmas object to each fan.

This is Halloween!

Hey guys!

It's been a while we didn't publish anything, but now that Halloween is almost here we have some awesome... oops, SPPOKY news for you! ;) The Graveyard map is available until November 10th, but why spend so much money in finding what you need?

I dug in very much today, and I found some ahhh-mazing costumes! Two costumes, actually, and two wigs. And guess what? You can WIN a witch costume! Just like our facebook page today and you will be INSTANTLY registered! Isn't it cool?

So here it is! This is a Halloween Witch Costume Bundle! Wig does not go with it, but this costume is actually so CUTE that any one of your wigs could go with it! Steven Tyler is a friend's pet. Since he is more rich and advanced that my own pet, my friend often sends me new articles, photos, newsletter, etc. I have my own pet but I prefer keeping it secret until the day that his house will be filled up like Steven Tyler's home.

Tea time!

From my last post, I figured out it would be such fun to show you some other tea time ideas that I found around Pet Society. They are all cute and awesome.

This one is the library of one of my friends. She built a really cozy rooftop library, with lights, books (a lot of them at the left of the room) a fireplace and, of course... a tea set and snacks!

I found very cool the chinese tea set. I love the colors and the tea cup. (But I am a bit disappointed that she bought the royal cake rack). I also like the tangerine basket idea... cute!

You enjoy a table where you don't always have to move your tea cups, pots, milk, tea box, etc? This one is for you then! Fake tea pot, fake tea cups, no need to move them! A cake rack, two patisserie brand cakes, two jam jars, and a perfect, enjoyable tea time!

This is the tea set of my friend Tessa. She got tired of it last Christmas and threw it in her attic, convinced she will find a new tea set, better and more expensive (she didn't find one yet).

It looks cute to me. The roses idea reminds me of the afternoons spent with my grandmother at her house. She owned a similar tea set. The tea box looks really vintage, too... where can we find tea boxes tied up with a ribbon these days? LOL. And I also like the steel milk jug... so cute...

Are royals cheap?

You can't figure out how much I laughed when I saw this. I've seen it way before, but I just figured out. This is from the royal wedding week:

A complete tea set, a royals tea set, I mean you won't get any chinese tea set like the one my friend has in its library or a pink roses tea set like the one my other friend keeps in her attic since she got tired of it last Christmas! A royal tea set like this one makes a total of 850 coins. Why so royal if it's not even 1,000 coins? That tea pot and tea cup should be at least 1,200 coins. The cake rack should be something like 800 coins. And the sugar thing should be something like 1,000 coins!

How cheap can royals be?

Can you make the difference?

Most Pet Society players have a full yard (and when I say "full", it doesn't mean: BBQ, grill, food, tables, chairs, stools, kites and other summer or fancy yard stuff). A full Pet Society yard means, to me, a yard where trees are everywhere, and the only remaining gardening spots are covered in flowers and growing vegetables.

And, even tough they have a full yard, they say they don't get a lot of money. They fed their pet the vegetables and fruit they grow in their garden instead of selling it!

Did you know that a 85 coins fruit that is sold can equal two healthy food items from the Grocery Store?

Can you make the difference between home grown vegetables and fruit and Grocery food?

The recycler is also a very cool way to make money. A 10,000 recycle points box gives you an item that, when sold, equals to nearly 1,000 coins! Imagine what you could do with all this money! Maybe you could be buying two regular trees, growing more fruit and making even MORE money! A regular tree is only 500 coins, but I bet my own regular trees already game me nearly 10,000 coins from the fruit I sold from them!

These are some items a friend sent me. From left to right, you have: a regular homegrown apple (65 coins when sold), an earthy apple (85 coins when sold), a honey pot (85 coins when sold) and a strawberry shortcake (85 coins when sold). Only these four homegrown fruits can give you a total of 320 coins! Just think about it! What can you do with 320 coins? For myself, I spend this sum of money to get enough food for FIVE whole days!

So remember this... want more money? Grow vegetables, fruits and flowers and then sell or recycle them! And with the money you'll earn... you could build your dream house! ;)

My house: cheapest way to get something fancy!

I told you I will be back with this kind of posts! I'm gonna show you my house. It took me a while to build it (and it's not even done yet) because I only earn a very low amount of 2,500 coins per day from visits, digging and fruit/vegetables sale from my own garden. But don't worry, I'll let you know when it's done ;)

Here are my rooms:

1: My back garden.
Wasn't very expensive at all. I have a tree that's still growing and the other one grows apples. The lounge, stool and umbrella aren't very expensive at all (can be found in the "furniture" row of the Garden Shop). And for the balloon and they playhouse, they both are available in the Workshop. I had to bother my friends for 2 months to finally get the necessary stuff to build them.

2: Entrance to my house.

I expect to make a café, cafeteria or a library out of this when I have enough money. Until now I only have my aquarium, a wig dye table and the free tent. And, of course, a door. 

3: My bedroom.

Yes, a bit full and very messy. But it's the way I like it. I didn't spend a lot either. The most expensive thing here is my bed (2,000 coins.). But otherwise most of the items are received from friends (such as the teddy at the window or the dragon on the chair next to my bed) and others are simply dug from the treasure map (like the dream catcher that hangs at my window.) 

4: My kitchen.

Very cheap but fancy, isn't it? I'm pretty proud of my kitchen. I just bought a little cheap collection (the fruits collection is the name, isn't it?) While some players buy fridges and stoves and other inutile stuff, I just bought the strict necessary: a sing, an oven, a table, two chairs, a window and a few accessories. 

5: My bathroom.

Okay, this one was expensive. Not joking. Only the toilet, sink with mirror and bathtub costed me 10,000 coins. And the accessories with the window made a total of nearly 7,000 coins I believe. But it sure was worth the effort. I love my bathroom. 

6: My stuffing room.

Yes, it's quite a weird way to spend a room. But it's very useful when your inventory is filled with items from last Christmas or last Easter. It's a perfect room to put your trophies and holiday stuff in it. 

7: My recording house.

Not finished yet either... I need a drum set, more lights, one of those amazing crystal phones sold in the Market, a computer, some crayons and other stuff... and more instruments, also. 

8: My relaxation room.

It's build in the playhouse, no wonder the walls are pink. It's more for having fun and watching my pet sitting at the piano (he's so cute ><) 

9: My petling's room.

My petling's name is Everglow (took a while to find a proper name). Since my cat's always jumping around my room (it's a bit embarrassing when someone comes by to visit) I decided to put it into a single room. Which is not ready yet. 

10: My front garden.

This one is completed. Took a while to dig all the furniture I wanted and to complete the Summer Lovers Archway.

Hopefully this gave you ideas for your own home. :)

Inexpensive but very fancy and stylish?

I was very impressed by a friend's house when I visited it last week. She really likes having a fancy house and she didn't even pay a lot for it. Check this out:

Actually, she only bought the floor and the wallpaper. She dug the candle, the summer table & chairs and the "Home Sweet Home" decoration. About the teddy and the books, they were part of the new arrival collection. You receive them when beginning to play Pet Society along with some other stuff such as a table, a cushion, a chair, a bed, a shelf, a window, curtains, a "welcome" carpet, a door, etc.

For more information on how to decorate your house in a fancy but very cheap way, please be aware that I will post other articles like this about my own house, too. I own a very fancy but simple house, and my payment bill for my furniture was quite cheap. I succeeded into making it the way I want, and I'm happy about it (mostly about the money I used.).

Appropriate food on Pet Society?

You may not think the same as me, but you can't really feed your pet anything. Some items are cheap and they just make you waste more money. Others are more expensive and colored and they don't feed your pet enough. Briefly, you will end up by wasting tons of money on food that will not be good for both your pet and your Pet Society budget.

If you are someone who hates wasting money and who wants to be economic and learn some fun facts, please listen to these "rules".

Rule #1: Never buy too expensive food.

You will probably think that the moor expensive the food is, the more it feeds your pet. Yes. You are right. But if the food is way too expensive, it will probably feed your pet but also make you waste more money that you had to.

Here are some things you HAVE TO NEVER BUY (unless you like wasting money.)

Of course, the red cards cake from above looks quite delicious and beautiful, and it is very tricky. A friend of mine bought it for her pet's 2nd birthday. She fed it to her pet (whose health bar had a very low number of 0 ) and her pet's health bar only rose at 50. It's a very beautiful cake but not worth the effort.

The other cakes from above have the same problem. And about the drinks and the lollipops, they all look so glam and are damn expensive, but don't even feed your pet with 40 health bar points. They all are very tricky and expensive.

Rule #2: Always follow rule #1 unless you go to one of your friend's pet birthday and you want to bring a very expensive gift to impress them. (They will be deceived anyway and figure out it was very tricky.)

Rule #3: Vegetables and fruit are VERY useful.

I always buy my pet a plate of fresh vegetables and/or fruit from the Food Shop (never feed your pet the vegetables and fruit you grow in your garden. They feed it the same as the ones in shop and are more useful when sold for money.)Vegetables and fruit cost not very much in the Food Shop, but they feed your pet very much. So instead of buying fancy expensive food for your pet, buy him vegetables or fruit from the fridge at the very back of the shop. (You may also buy something special as a chocolate bar or a juice from time to time to spoil your pet a bit. Otherwise, it will get very bored and motivation-less.)

Pet Society is 3! week

Pet Society is now three years old and they decided to make quite an event out of this. In every single shop you can find appropriate cakes, clothes, cupcakes, hats, meals, furniture, decorations and, of course, a new item to build in the Workshop. I usually have to kill my friends until they send me all my materials, so this week I decided to not build the item. The Birthday Bouncy Castle looks quite fun to me, but it will just fill another space in my house and be so inutile (who needs to bounce all day in Pet Society?) . But happily, by visiting the mayor, I found out that he build it so I decided to try and see how it works. My pet began bouncing all around it. I was sincerely a bit scared at this point:

My pet actually ended up by bouncing so hard that he touched the ceiling of the mayor's house! I was very afraid the poor little thing will crush on the floor and die, but no: he just bounced one more time and then athletically jumped on the floor. It seems he found all this funny.

Is the new flying car deadly?

I was very surprised when, last week, I visited the mayor. His house sure is amazing. He build a room with only witchery craft stuff from the Harry Potter weeks. I was quite impressed by his home.
But I was more impressed when, after looking at his Hogwarts-style room, I scrolled my page to the left and saw... this:

No wonder I got to tell you I was literally shocked. My pet, Steven Tyler, often does very weird things, but seeing him chasing the Pet Society mayor in a flying car was just so shocking. I took this photo then immediately got out of the house and only returned the next day (I still want to earn my 50 coins for visiting the mayor.)
